I'm looking for newspaper articles

The Henry Madden Library subscribes to a number of newspaper databases, both current and historical.  There are a number of ways to locate newspaper articles.

1. OneSearch

Start at the library homepage.  In the OneSearch box, enter your search terms, and then click on Articles.

Articles with full text will display an Online full text available link.  Articles without full text can be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

2. Newspaper databases

Start at the library homepage, click on Databases by Subject, and select Newspapers to view available newspaper databases.  

 

3. Finding a specific newspaper

Start at the library homepage, click the Articles+ tab, and click on Journals by Title A-Z.

Search the title of the newspaper. If the library has a subscription to your newspaper, the title will show up and display the type of access.

Click on the newspaper title to access the links for online access, or print information.

Additionally, current news articles can be found online through newspaper websites like New York TimesLos Angeles TimesFresno Bee, or a news aggregator like Google News.
